In the troubling days of the 1930's, Annie must
live in a miserable orphanage run by the tyrannical Miss Hannigan.
Her seemingly hopeless situation changes dramatically when she is
selected to spend a short time at the residence of the wealthy
munitions industrialist, Oliver Warbucks. Magically, she charms the
hearts of the Warbucks household staff and even the cold-hearted
Warbucks cannot help but learn to love this wonderful girl. He
decides to help Annie find her long lost parents by offering a
reward if they would come to him and prove their identity. However,
Miss Hannigan, her evil brother, Rooster, and a female accomplice,
plan to impersonate those people to get the reward for themselves
which put Annie in great danger. Leapin’ lizards!
New York City during
the Depression. Annie lives in an orphanage run by the ill-tempered,
Miss Hannigan. Like the rest of the children, Annie doesn't like the
orphanage and dislikes Miss Hannigan even more. Fortunately, Annie
meets and befriends Sandy, the lovable street dog, who quickly
becomes part of her family and helps to distract her from the
horrible life that surrounds her.
When Annie is chosen to spend the Christmas holidays with the
wealthy industrialist Oliver Warbucks, Miss Hannigan is infuriated
that Annie will be spending the holidays in the lap of luxury.
Warbucks is charmed by Annie's spunk and good spirits and is eager
to adopt her, but Annie is convinced that one day her real
parents will come back to claim her. |

Don't
Cry for Me Margaret Mitchell
by Duke Ernsberger and Virginia Cate
Hilarious, irreverent
and mostly true!
It is 1939, and David O. Selznick has already
begun filming Gone with the Wind, but he needs a
new script. There is only one writer up to the
task, the legendary Ben Hecht. The only problem,
Hecht has never read the book, and they have
only a week to write a new script. So Selznick
locks himself, Hecht and director Victor
Flemming in his office with the mission to write
a screenplay for Gone With the Wind in one week,
the book that took Margaret Mitchell ten years
to write. You will laugh until you are out of
breath at the antics which produce one of the
classic movies of all time.
